Its run by the lovely couple who caters to your every need. From arranging tuk tuk to organising Safari with take away breakfast (thank you)! The place they have is a real oasis among those we visited so far, hidden away, quiet, calm and perfect to relax and rest after visiting Yala park. Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Amazon Cabanas is a hidden gem. Our lodge was really lovely. It had a lovely big bathroom, very comfortable bed and a lovely veranda where we sat enjoying the incredible beauty and peacefulness of their gorgeous garden. The couple were delightful and super helpful and friendly. On our 2nd night we arrived back very tired from a full day safari at Yala National Park. The couple brought us a lovely tray of coffee and home made cake. It's been our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka and would really highly recommend.

Amazon Cabanas is tucked away in the most peaceful garden. So many birds, squirrels, lizards and butterflies come to visit. A peacock family walk around all day. A nice walk to the main road for good restaurants with friendly staff. A little further walk is the lake. Tuk tuks are easy to find. We took a boat on the lake in the evening and saw bats, birds, fishermen and families swimming. having fun. The room was very good. Big, very clean, excellent bathroom and best of all the outside sitting area. Newly painted, the cabanas are very very nice. We had a delicious breakfast on our terrace every morning. The hosts are the most delightful people. Just gorgeous.

Amazing hotel. The family were extremely friendly and arranged everything I needed - including a morning safari which was amazing, would very much recommend booking the safari with the property. The property itself is beautiful - with peacocks and monitor lizards roaming the grounds. An amazing place to stay when visiting Yala.

One of the most comfortable places we stayed in in all of Sri Lanka! The little house we stayed in was perfectly clean, with a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The hosts went out of their way to provide us with all we needed, especially with delicious and freshly cooked breakfast in the early morning to take with us to the safari. In general the hosts were amazing people who curate their property with a lot of care and effort that didn’t remain unnoticed. Also booking the safari through them was a good deal and very comfortable for us.

The room is super clean, it has everything you need. Spacious bathroom. The hosts are INCREDIBLE, super nice, always willing to help with anything you might need. Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. It has a big garden with a peacock and some other animals, we loved being so in the middle of nature. Will be back!
