Before launching the video about our trip through the Peneda Geres National Park in Portugal I thought it would be great to have a little Photo wrap-up – with Portugals north by Instagram.
Braga, Guimaraes, Peneda Geres
These 3 spots have been our stops on the roadtrip in September. Both mentioned cities are great for discovering the roots of Portugal. A walk through Braga and Guimaraes is quite nice and relaxing: medieval buildings, not crowded at all, small pastries shops and charming cafés.
On the other hand you have the chance to be active and to experience the beautiful landscapes as well as the nature in the Peneda Geres National Park. I never expected to find this kind of places in a country like Portugal. You should be curious about the video which is in the editing process at the moment – there you’ll get a much deeper impression of what this part of Portugal is like. Furthermore we were invited to an action adventure park for some adrenalin loaded activities!

As already stated i was quite surprised by Portugal and it’s diversity. I’m thinking about coming back for a much longer stay to also see Lisbon and tryout surfing – which is very popular there.
